Everything that luckylou56 has said about this Inn is what I would have said about it.
The staff were so friendly and helpful and we needed to have the fire lit that night and they just came in and lit it for us. With the market outside the front door only on Sundays it is so colourful and we spent hours just wandering around and absorbing the atmosphere. The Inn was used for travellers coming to the markets and many of the rooms were stables for the animals.
It is clean and full of antiques one of the most authentic accommodations I have stayed in.

This beautiful old hotel takes you back in time in the best way ever. The building and the interior of the rooms has been kept very authentic. The furnishings and decorations are completely in style. Many original old paintings on the walls. And then the courtyards! Everything blosoming, orchids covering the old trees....just wonderful.
The service is great. All guests get asigned their personal atendant when entering the hotel. He is responsable for bringing in the luggage, keeping the room clean, waiting on you in the restaurant (that has a beatiful view over the cemetary of Chichi) and, best of all........lighting the fire place whenever you desire. We made a walk through the village after dinner and when we came back to our room the fire was going nicely. The room cozy and with soft lighting. Super romantic!
Certainly a place we want to come back to!.

This Inn is truly from the past....I was at first upset that there is no TV...but the room is awesome...great wool blankets on the beds, a fireplace..a "right hand man" that starts the fire for you! The breakfast was delish! The market is right outside the front door! and down the other end is a very colorful cemetery not to be missed. Great location!.

I loved this hotel. Whilst it may be considered a little tired but some who have reviewed it in the past, I would say that it has loads of character. The resident manager, Valery, is delightful. The rooms are great and the service good. Thank you Tomas. Did have a meal in the restaurant. I was the only one there, so I can't really speak for the atmosphere. The food was tasty, but the competition from other restaurants is great on content, quantity and price,

I would definitely recommend this hotel if if you want to overnight prior to Market day to beat the crowds. It is only a few steps to the market and easy to get back to if you are loaded with shopping for an interim stop.

The Inn is conveniently located just steps from the Chichi marketplace. The rooms are furnished with old world furnishings and were immaculate. If you just have to have a TV in your room, this is not the place for you. The rooms have no TVs, phones or hairdryers but they do each have a fireplace with a staff member who is assigned to you at check-in. He will light the fire for you. Additional wood is kept in a trunk in each room if you want or need to throw more wood on to keep the fire going. The food was good and while we were eating dinner there some Mayan folk dancers performed for us in the dining room. It takes about 5 minutes of running the hot water spigot to get hot water. There is a beautiful courtyard with two parrots in it along with nice flowering plants and trees. There are a lot of barking dogs in the town, so sleeping was not great, but that is not the hotel's fault.
